We have an inspiring discussion with Mahabir Pun on 10th March 2025(26th Fagun, 2081 in Hotel Sky Luxe,lthari. We have an insightful discussion on the youth empowerment, rural development, and the power of technology to transfer communities. We were honored to welcome the visionary and the renowned scientist, educator, and social entrepreneur known for his pioneering work in the rural development and technological innovation in Nepal. He is a prime example of how technology can be used for the social good, creating rural development and innovation pathways.

Mahavir Pun is a founder of the Nepal Innovation Center. Mahavir Pun and the Innovation Center are the synonymous to each other. Innovation Center is the first of its type to promote innovation and research culture in Nepal. He talked about his journey since beginning and he talked about how government and the local level can invest in such organization to help solve existing problems and do research on it. This can be an investment of enormous return, invest in young skilled youth, invest on their ideas and get return of the government. We discuss on the challenges and the opportunity facing youth in rural areas and innovative approaches to sustainable development and use of the technology in education and entrepreneurship and many more such topics.

Dr. Poon’s remarkable journey and the dedication to enhancing education and the technological advancement in Nepal resonated deeply with us. We appreciate the valuable insight he shared and the encouragement he offered to us. His work is to make tremendous difference and we were proud to be part of his journey.
