This strategic initiative was taken by CNI to bring together young business leaders so as to groom them to be the next generation of business leaders for Nepal. The main objective of this Forum is to help its members realize their full potential, so that young entrepreneurs can contribute fresh, effective ideas and feedback for the future of Nepal’s businesses. CNI recognized the need to cultivate a core group of Young Entrepreneurs and CEO’s aged 40 and below to be the next generation of business leaders to steer Nepal ahead in the local and international arena.
It is a membership-based non-profit organization, established with a vision to bring together entrepreneurs and business leaders in Nepal, who can co-create ideas, learn and grow businesses. With a successful start in Kathmandu, CNIYEF is open to expanding branches across Nepal, with a view to cover all provinces of Nepal.
CNIYEF helps in molding and grooming young leaders at an early age, which becomes an entry point for them to foray into a larger business platform – CNI. One of the major objectives of CNIYEF is to help influence external policies of the government at the macroeconomic and financial level. It helps in getting the youth aligned with this.

Since the launch of CNI in 2002, there was always a void to be filled in the entrepreneurial space in Nepal. CNIYEF was launched on 15th June 2017 by CNI with the aim of bringing together young business leaders so as to groom them to be the next generation of business leaders for Nepal. The main objective of this Forum is to help its members realize their full potential, so that young entrepreneurs can contribute fresh, effective ideas and feedback for the future of Nepal’s businesses. President's Message
CNIYEF Koshi comprises a diverse group of entrepreneurs from various industries. Through the efforts of our dynamic team, we successfully established the chapter on November 28, 2022. Our planned activities for the year align with our core values, aiming to increase membership and enhance value creation. We are dedicated to fostering the development of start-ups and an innovation program, inspiring young individuals to embrace entrepreneurship.
Additionally, we will organize learning and social events to boost member satisfaction and connectivity. The rise in board meetings, social gatherings, and learning events has already generated significant interest and heightened satisfaction among our members.
I firmly believe that CNIYEF Koshi has evolved into a thriving community and a guiding light for young entrepreneurs in the Koshi Province. It is now opportune to collaborate with government bodies, provincial ministries, and stakeholders to make a meaningful impact on the Entrepreneurship Development Ecosystem.
As we progress, I, as the Chapter Chair, welcome suggestions & feedback from fellow members to make our chapter the most inclusive and impactful organization it can be—a community where everyone feels valued and heard. We take pride in being part of this remarkable organization and eagerly anticipate continued growth and connection each day.
